FAQ
Why Is my windows cloudy or bubbly right after they are tinted?
This will occur temporarily after your tint is installed. A thin layer of water will be trapped under the film until it evaporates. Often, as the film is drying, it may also contain a ripple look or fish scaly appearance. Rest assured, this is normal and will dry out. The film should be dry and clear within a week in sunny, warm weather.
Will my car be cooler when I get in on a hot day?
Yes, but for the most part, it’s going to still be hot due to the lack of ventilation that traps the heat within the closed vehicle. The big difference you will get occurs when you attempt to cool down your car with air conditioning. It will cool down much faster and be able to stay cooler inside your vehicle much easier. Also, you will begin to notice that the sunlight that hits your skin is much more bearable than before without any tint.
Does my rear defroster work if I get my windows tinted?
The window films get applied over the defroster lines. That means this resource continues to function as designed. Depending on the situation, you might consider putting some heat on the rear window as you leave to speed up the drying process.
How is automotive film Applied? How long does it take?
We apply tint on the inside of windows. At first, the film will be laid on the outside of the window and then cut to fit the right shape. Next, the pieces of film are placed on a large piece of glass and trimmed. Then, it will be installed to the inside of the windows. Installing window films takes approximately 2 hours, depending on the complexity of the vehicles curved glass.
Should I drop off my vehicle or wait?
You can decide whether you want to wait until the installation is complete or drop off your vehicle. While we have a waiting room with a TV and snacks should you decide to wait, we prefer that you drop off your vehicle for the day.
Can I roll down my windows after install?
You typically need to keep your windows up for the first 72 hours. Depending on the product selected for your vehicle, that time might get extended to five days. The adhesive needs time to dry, and rolling the windows down too quickly could damage the film or tint.
